The Streets of Prague

PRAGUE, CZECHIA . 2018

Some cities don't simply preserve history. They continue to live within it.

When I visited Prague in 2018, I was captivated by its cobbled streets, Gothic spires and beautifully preserved architecture. Shaped over more than a thousand years, the city has managed to retain much of its historic character while remaining a vibrant place to live and work. Walking through its streets, it was easy to see why Prague is often regarded as one of Europe's most beautiful cities.

What stayed with me wasn't just the architecture, but the feeling that history and everyday life existed side by side. Cafés filled centuries-old buildings, trams passed beneath medieval towers, and people carried on with ordinary life surrounded by an extraordinary past. Looking back at these photographs, I'm reminded that history is at its most meaningful when it continues to be part of the present, rather than simply remembered from afar.
