Kenyan Wildlife
NAIROBI, KENYA . 2017
There are few places in the world where wildlife still lives on such an extraordinary scale.
My second journey to Kenya in 2017 brought me back to the open plains and national parks that make this part of Africa so remarkable. Home to elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and countless other species, Kenya offers a rare opportunity to observe animals living as they have for generations—free to roam vast landscapes shaped by nature rather than people. Even having experienced it once before, the feeling never becomes familiar.
No photograph can fully capture the experience of watching wildlife in its natural habitat. The scale of the landscape, the patience of waiting and the unpredictability of every encounter are all part of the story. These photographs are simply a small glimpse into a world that continues to remind me how remarkable our natural world truly is.
