Another side of Jeju
JEJU, SOUTH KOREA · 2025
Some journeys are remembered for the places we visit. Others for the person who shared the road with us.
Jeju has a way of slowing everything down. Between its volcanic coastlines, quiet villages and winding roads, there was never any urgency to see everything. Instead, we wandered, cameras in hand, following the changing light and stopping whenever something caught our attention. Sometimes we photographed the same scene. More often, we found ourselves drawn to entirely different moments, each returning with a different story to tell.
Perhaps that's one of the joys of travelling with a partner that also photographs. You don't simply discover a place through your own eyes. You begin to see it through someone else's as well.
These photographs are my collection from our journey. The memories, however, belong to both of us.
